  • Clean Driving Record - A clean driving record is the best way to keep your auto insurance premium down.  Having a moving violation or an at-fault accident will add points to your driving record that will stay on your record for up to 6 years.  These points add hundreds of dollars to your auto insurance premium every year.
  • AAA Discount – Many carriers offer a discount for having AAA or another roadside assistance program.  Not only will this lower your insurance premium but also gives you roadside assistance if you ever need help.
  • EFT Program – Most companies charge a fee of around $5 to mail out a bill each month to a policyholder.  By signing up for EFT most insurance carriers will no longer charge you the 5$ monthly charge for having to mail you out a bill each month.  You will also never have a late payment or have to remember to pay your auto insurance bill. 
  • Low Mileage Discount – Many companies offer a low mileage discount to drivers who drive less than 10,000 miles in a year.  All companies differ so some may not offer the discount unless a driver drives less than 7,500 or 5,000 miles in a year. 
  • Companion Policy Discount – Many companies offer a large discount if you write both your auto and homeowners insurance policies with them.  This is a great way to have all your insurance policies with the same agency and lower your premiums.  Have us quote both your home and auto to see if we can save you some money on insurance costs this year.
