           Car Insurance Discounts in Massachusetts

Depending on the insurance company, the following car and auto insurance discounts can be available to you in Massachusetts including Boston:

1. Multi-Car Insurance Discounts

There is a discount for drivers who insure more than one private passenger vehicle with the same insurance company.

2. Low-Mileage Car Insurance Discounts

The companies we represent currently offer a discount for people who don't put a lot of miles on their automobile each year.  Bear in mind, you will be required to fill out a form each year detailing the odometer reading and it will be checked by a representative to verify its accuracy.

3. Anti-Theft Car Insurance Discounts

Currently, the companies we represent offer a discount to those who protect their automobile with an anti-theft device. The discount ranges from 5-35%, depending on the device.

4. Auto and Homeowners Combination Insurance Discounts

The companies we represent currently offer an added discount to those who carry their Automobile Insurance as well as their Homeowners Insurance , Condo Insurance or Renters Insurance with the same insurance company. One of the companies we represent even offers a discount if someone insures their auto as well as their business or umbrella or dwelling fire insurance policy with the same company.

5. Passive Restraint System

Factory installed airbags and automatic seatbelts in your car will make you eligible for a discount on your car insurance.

6. Drivers Training

The completion of Driver's Education Training can make you eligible for a credit on your policy.

7. Good Student Discount

If you, or a rated operator on your policy, are in high school or college, you can receive an added discount for one of the following:

1) Maintaining a "B" average, or equivalent, in prior semester
2) Dean's List or Honor Roll in prior semester
3) GPA of, at least, 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
4) Rank in the top 20% of their grade

8. Hybrid Vehicle Discount

An added discount can be added if you insure a hybrid private passenger vehicle.

9. Years Licensed Discount

The longer you have had your drivers license, the more your insurance premium can be reduced due to your experience behind the wheel.

10. Advanced Driver Training

If you take an approved Advanced Driving Training course, and obtain a certificate for it, you can be eligible for an added insurance discount.

11. Pay in Full Discount

Some companies offer a discount if you pay the premium in full on day 1 of the policy term.

12. Public Transit Discount

Some companies we represent offer a discount if you can show evidence of eleven monthly passes or tickets from a qualifying mass transit system during your policy period.

13. Roadside Assistance Discount

If you are a member of a qualified roadside assistance program, such as AAA, there is an added discount available to your policy with certain auto insurance carriers.

14. Years at Residence Discount

One of the companies we represent offers a discount based on the length of time you have resided at your current address.

                            Save Money On Insurance

There are so many people who are looking to save money on insurance out there, but, there is one very easy way to do so.  Place both your homeowners and auto insurance policies with the same company.  It is that simple.  One particular company I work with gives a 20% companion policy discount for the homeowners and 12% on the auto.  For example, if you write your homeowners insurance policy with this company and your premium is $1,000, when you write the auto policy with them your home policy immediately decreases to $800.  That is $200 a year in savings, not to mention you are saving on your auto policy as well.  There are certain situations where it may be cheaper to have one policy with one company and the other with a different one, but, it never hurts to check into it.  20% is a huge discount!
